Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Most nurses suffer from some lower back pain (LBP). This study focuses on "twist" which is one of factors of LBP in nursing practice. We measured the twist angle of the lumbar region and the surface electromyogram (EMG) in transferring a patient from a bed to a wheelchair. We suggest visualizing the load on the lumber region for indicating nursing practice of less load. Results of visualizing could indicate the imbalances load and some words of caution of the situation in nursing practices.
