Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We ran several experiments to compare location information accuracy between the MobileMe service offered by Apple and, location information obtained using a GPS logger. The location information of registered iPhone/iPad/iPod touch devices can be accessed via the MobileMe on the Web. In each case, the location information from these two sources was compared with a record of actual movements. Our results showed both the MobileMe and the GPS logger location information are comparable in accuracy, i.e. they are equally accurate or equally inaccurate.
