Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We evaluated the power consumption of a dynamically and partially reconfigurable (DPR) multi-cryptoprocessor implemented on Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA. We implemented 6 cryptographic modules (AES, Camellia, SEED, TDEA, MISTY1, CAST128) as Reconfigurable Modules (RMs) of the DPR cryptoprocessor. The power consumption and circuit size of the DPR processor were compared with those of a static multi-cryptoprocessor. According to the experimental results, the hardware resource used was reduced by 67% and energy consumption was reduced by about 6-9%.
