Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) MIMO-OFDM enables high-speed wireless communication, and is employed in IEEE802.11n and IEEE802.11ac. We developed a 2x2 MIMO-OFDM wireless transmission unit by using FPGA. This work has developed a video transmission equipment including network processing and video encoding/decoding based on the previous work. The wireless transmission part consists of MIMO detection, MIMO-OFDM modulation-demodulation, error correction, and oversampling processing. The video transmission part processes video data buffer, streaming packet making, and video encoding/decoding in software and hardware. The FPGA implementation result and the video transmission experiment are reported.
