Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) SRAM-based FPGAs are vulnerable to a SEU, which is induced by radiation effect. The SEU's effects on configuration memories are able to be eliminated by TMR and Partial Reconfiguration . However, the reliability of the sequential circuit is not ensured only by these techniques because their contexts are not synchronized with other modules. In our previous work, we have achieved the context synchronization of triplicated softcore processor. Therefore, this paper presents the context synchronization technique and the dynamic reconifguration technique for the softcore processor system including peripherals. As a result, proposed technique reduced FIT (Failure In Time) by 46.5% compared to previous work.
