Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When hearing impaired students take a note or see textbooks in the lecture of the university, they may have to look away from sign-language or realtime caption. Therefore, they are not able to obtain enough information on the lecture. We propose a learning support system for the hearing impaired in this paper. Our system supports them by displaying images of sign-language, realtime caption etc. on their desks by the micro-projector. We tested and discussed the system through the experiment that hearing impaired student use the system in the lecture. We carried out a questionnaire survey on our system after the experiment. It is suggested that our system be useful for the learning support for hearing impaired students in the lecture from the questionnaire data.
