Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Light-matter interactions are governed by the electric dipole moment transition which is related with the scalar product of dipole moments of the matter and vectorial electricfield of the light, or the magnetic dipole transition and the electric quadrupole transition which are related with the space derivative of the vectorial electric-field of the light. If vectorial waveform of electricfield of light can be shaped arbitrarily, the light-matter interactions can be controled. This technique is called Vectorial Coherent Control. In this paper we introduced a vector shaper for vectorial coherent control experiments. We generated polarization-twisted pulses by the shaper and measured vectorial envelope waveforms of the pulses.
