Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Digital coherent transmission system employing nonlinearity mitigation algorithm is promising for future high-capacity and long-haul optical transmission system. In this report, we investigate the impact of interplay between polarization mode dispersion (PMD) and nonlinearity on the performance of two different nonlinearity mitigation algorithms under various PMD conditions in a transmission of 112 Gb/s DP-QPSK signal with co-propagating 10.7 Gb/s NRZ over 1,200 km dispersion compensated standard SMF link.
