Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We compare Direct Spectrum Division Transmission (DSDT) with other transmission schemes which assign multiple carriers or single-carrier divided sub-spectra to unused frequency slots for satellite communication systems that share frequency band with other systems. We select Single Carrier FDMA(SC-FDMA) and Multi Carrier FDMA(MC-FDMA) as conventional transmission scheme and compare with these Adjacent Channel Interference (ACI), Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) and Bit Error Rate (BER). Simulation result shows that DSDT is the only transmission scheme which can reduce both ACI and PAPR, and its BER degradation is negligible. With these results, we conclude that DSDT is suitable for next generation satellite communication system.
