Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the design of our new educational using desktop environments system with thin-clients terminal and user's PC. Setting computer terminals for education take many costs, because there are lots of terminals and many people use terminals. Therefore, the reduction of the costs is required. In our university, the lease of the computer system for education using iMacG5 with net-boot is finished this year. Thus we designed and checked up the new desktop environment system for education with thin-clients terminal and user's PC. As a result, we understood that we could build new system by a virtual client system based VDI. We perform the introduction of our designed system and introduction same system to the office system at the university in the near future.
