Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In event-driven wireless sensor networks, sensor nodes start data collection when the nodes detect an event. Moreover, they set up on the near distance tend to monitor same events. If we collect monitoring information from these nodes, it is not efficient from the power consumption viewpoint. Thus we propose a data collecting scheme that is able to remove redundancy and lower power consumption. In this scheme, we estimate event area and collect detected information from only nodes the edge of the areas. Additionally, the simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
