Abstract(in English) This paper describes the performance of an improved bump/dent detection system using an infrared camera in nighttime. We examine the effect of the main source of errors that is the flicker of a street ramp, the height of an IR projector, and the image distortion by wide field of view. Furthermore, we carry out the evaluation performance of the improved system that considers the main source of errors.
