Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a scalable image recognition method for both image classification and image annotation. We first employ Kernel PCA to embed non-linear metrics of image features onto an Euclidean space. Appropriate distance metric in latent space can be obtained by considering both image and label information with Canonical Contextual Distance. Categories of query images are predicted from near training samples. We took part in ILSVRC2010, which is a workshop for large scale image classification, and we took the third place.
