Abstract(in English) Measurement of network metrics in time-domain, such as packet transfer delay and delay variation, was mainly covered with active measurement method using probe packets. Low cost round trip delay measurement of wide area network could be enabled with monitoring of TCP 3-way handshake transaction packet. In this paper, the time line deviation in network transfer delay through passive monitoring was evaluated. Also, the classification of monitoring target address method using the round trip delay data itself is also described.
