Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When we watch audio-visual contents in a short time or listen to speech perfectly with low-speed play-back, techniques of time-scale modification are useful. In this paper, two approaches which improve audio quality of audio-visual contents are proposed. The one is "the high affinity connective method" which connects two audio-signals with sound warping to suppress the sense of incongruity. Indexes for the sense of incongruity are defined, and the results of the hearing experiment are reported. The other is "the regional time-scale modification method" which performs time-scale modification only in the selected region. In addition, a speech database, SRV-DB, for speaking rate researcher is introduced.
