Abstract(in English) Recently, the development of the digital telecommunication technology has enabled to enjoy comics on the Web. The use of electronic comics has been expanding rapidly. There are a lot of illegal issues for "The secondary use" of the comics. However, demand and possibilities for more flexible "secondary use" of the comics' environment are increasing. In this paper, we sort out methods of "secondary use" of the comics, and describe our observations about the technical mechanism regarding image processing technology and its applications.
