Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes the method for robot's gaze control by localization system using invisible markers and a robot onboard camera for a smart home. The place of the user who needs the information is identified, and the display where information can be presented from the best position is selected. Next, one robot in the best place, prepared to talk with the user is selected. Furthermore, the gaze control of the robot is managed by combining camera information of the localization system and the robot. Thus certain and smooth gaze matching of the robot and the user is given and the better interaction is realized. This paper also describes a prototype system of a visitor corresponding service.
