Abstract(in English) Flexible grid has been proposed in a next generation ROADM to improve a frequency usage efficiency. A wavelength-blocker array using a LCOS processor is reported. A wavelength-cross connect switch is formed with the wavelength-blocker array. However the scheme has a relatively high loss, colorless, directionless, contentionless and the flexible grid capabilities are easily formed.
