Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Time synchronization is one of the important problems for practical implementation of wireless sensor networks because of communication-timing control. In this report, we analytically and experimentally investigate "pulse-coupled oscillators with both a refractory period and frequency distribution" reported in our previous paper [Konishi and Kokame, 2008]. The present report investigates the clustering synchronization which occurs outside of the complete synchronization region. A simple condition to estimate maximum possible number of the clusters is derived. These results are verified by the circuit experiments.
