Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a demonstration of wireless secret key agreement system using ESPAR antennas. We developed a USB-compatible radio module with a built-in small planar 3-element ESPAR antenna. By using the modules for regular terminals and eavesdropping one, we made an experiment to prove the idea of direct wave elimination by antenna cross-polarization technique. We also made another experiment to improve the performance by employing an ESPAR antenna for both terminals. To even emphasize the performance improvement, we deleted both the highest RSSIs and that in the vicinity of the decision threshold. Experimental results show that Imac (Information mutual anti-tapping condition) successfully achieved 40% higher than that in conventional schemes.
