Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In near future, optical communication and processing also are expected to become taking place in home optical network. The organic materials have much attention because its thin film can be fabricated by wet process like spin-coating technique and because optical device structures can be fabricated by nano-imprinting technology. We propose the calixarene derivatives as novel thermostable and transparent optical material. One of the characteristics necessary for the optical materials is refractive index can be controlled within a certain range. In this paper we report the refractive index control of calixarene polymer by hybrid technique between calixarene and nano-particles.
