| 抄録(和) | 情報通信研究機構(NICT)では,空間とファイバを連携する量子もつれ光源(以下,ハイブリッド光源)をメーカとの協力の下に開発した.この技術は世界的に見ても最先端の技術であり,もつれ相関を空間伝送に適した偏光と,ファイバ伝送に適した位相情報として変換できる画期的なもので,地上ファイバ系とワイヤレス系をシームレスにつなぐキーテクノロジである.現在,ファイバ伝送による量子鍵配送(QKD)は,約150km程度が伝送距離の限界であるが,衛星等を用いた空間伝送により大陸間を量子暗号ネットワークで接続可能であり,量子鍵配送を全世界的に展開することを可能とする.本稿では,衛星や航空機等の移動体からの通信アプリケーションに,量子鍵配送を組み合わせるシステムを検討し,移動体との超高速の通信リンクの利用と,高セキュリティ化の研究開発の計画について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) successfully developed the quantum entanglement source called the hybrid entanglement, which connects between the space and fiber systems. This is the cutting-edge technology all over the world and the phase correlation of the entanglement can be converted into the polarization one and vice versa, which is the key technology for the terrestrial fiber and wireless networks. The transmissible distance for the quantum key distribution (QKD) is now limited up to about 150 km; however, it can be extended by using free-space transmission over satellites which realizes the intercontinental communications and the global QKD over the Earth. This paper describes the study plan on the mobile communications between airplanes and satellites and ground stations with QKD. |
