Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Scattered pilots (SP) would be effective for the estimation and compensation of fast fading propagation paths. This paper discusses an application of SP to DFT Spread OFDM (DFTS-OFDM) transmission. After we derive theoretically a delay profile of the system, based on the discussion of the delay profile, we propose an inter-polation method of the frequency response of propagation paths and an estimation method of noise power. Finally the performance obtained by the proposed methods is quantitatively evaluated by means of computer simulation, and compared with the performance of schemes utilizing conventional methods.
