A Generic Social Graph Model of SNSes Based on FOAF

Abstract(in English) Currently, SNS (Social Network Service) is widely used to publish information and to formalize communities. However, the structures of the social graph of SNSes are different. Therefore, the compatibility among multiple the social graphs is not guaranteed. It is difficult to build relationships among users, and to develop social applications, among different SNSes. This research proposes the General Social Graph Model (GSGM) to model common structure, and for mapping several social sraphs, based on FOAF (Friend Of A Friend). The authors apply GSGM to the structure of relationships among users of SNSes, and express relationships. Appling GSGM to real multiple SNSes, the compatibility of the social graph is evaluated.
