Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In On Demand Multicast Protocol(ODMRP), a route is established periodically. When the network topology changes because of nodes' movement, the trade-off between the delivery ratio and the number of control packets is likely to exist. This paper proposes a novel control- packet reduction scheme with maintaining high delivery ratio by using local repair procedure. In this proposed scheme, route refresh interval is dynamically decided based on location information obtained from the GPS. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme reduces the control packets. Simulation results also show that the proposed scheme keeps high delivery ratio.
