Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In multilingual communication support using parallel texts, it is difficult to retrieve appropriate parallel texts because of the difference and the fluctuation of subtle expression. We developed a multilingual parallel texts search method using the similarity measure based on N-gram. In our multilingual parallel-text sharing system, we evaluated the performance of our method to retrieve Japanese and English parallel texts and our method showed a higher recall than that of keyword search method based on nouns and verbs.
