Abstract(in English) The National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) has been studying "Satellite/Terrestrial Integrated Mobile Communication System" (STICS). STICS shared the same frequency band (2GHz band) with the terrestrial system and the satellite system. Because STICS has a different mobile communication system to share the same frequency band, the amount of the interference with which it interferes from the terrestrial system becomes an important parameter for the system design. It is necessary to measure the output power level from an existing mobile phone that is controlled under terrestrial system. We developed the output power measuring equipment of the mobile phone by this purpose before. But the measuring data in the Kanto region was insufficient in the low population density region (1-100person/km^2). Because the output power measurement experiment in a wide area including the low population density region was executed, it reports on the experimental overview and the result of this measurement.
