Abstract(in English) In the satellite communication system communicated at various transmission rates with voice and data, variable symbol rate modem is necessary. Conventional digital sampling techniques can simplify the design of an analog filter, and is effective. However, it is difficult to calculate filter coefficients necessary for the rate conversion accurately to achieve large variable range and high accuracy of symbol rate. Therefore, this paper proposes variable symbol rate modem using resampling techniques that reduces the complexity. Computer simulation confirms the transmission performance of the proposal method when multilevel modulation transmission (QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK, 16QAM, 32APSK) is applied.
