Abstract(in English) | In this paper, impact of adjacent channel interference is discussed in a low power wireless data transmission over "white space" spectrum. Use of low power wireless communication system over the adjacent frequency channel in which typically licensed wireless communication system is operating. OFDM modulation is considered in both licensed and low power wireless system for efficient use of radio frequency and minimizing the risk of mutual interference. Bit error rate performance of OFDM system is evaluated when the adjacent channel signal is added as an interference signal. Impact of the FFT size of OFDM, filter characteristics, and the signal structure of OFDM are also evaluated through computer simulation. |
