Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Compressed sensing has been drawn explosive attention during last several years. It has been proven that a signal which is sparsely represented in any convenient domain can be measured and reconstructed using sub-Nyquist rate information. Directly interpretation of compressed sensing in the sense of wireless technology is as follows: radio wave data can be received, transmitted, and reconstructed using sub-Nyquist rate information without aliasing if the original radio wave is sparse. Due to its surprising characteristics, a plethora of research has been devoted to develop compressed sensing technology from theory to applications. Some achievements already have revealed that compressed sensing can be successfully applied in the real world applications such as MRJ or wideband spectrum sensing. This paper introduces compressed sensing technology from basics to the applications. In particular, correct explanations for common misunderstandings are also provided.
