Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a new region merging method for over-segmented color images. The proposed method can decide the region to be extracted from the segmented images by using saliency map. Saliency map shows the point of interest for human beings. To extract the region to be segmented, the processing time of the region merging is shorter than several conventional methods. Moreover, the extracted results are given suitably for human's sense. |
