Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The dental radiograph is used for diagnosis and individual identification. In the case of diagnosis, the digital subtraction technique has been used. The projective distortion between two dental radiographs taken from the same patient is caused by the position of X-ray irradiator. For the digital subtraction technique, the registration of two dental radiographs is required. In general, the registration is performed by the projective transform. In the case of the projective transform, it is necessary for deriving the transformation function to find suitable feature points from the reference image and to obtain exact corresponding points from the objective image. In this paper, we propose the methods to extract suitable feature points from the reference image based on the premise of the corresponding points are obtained from the objective image accuracy.
