Abstract(in English) | Mobile Ad-hoc Network, where mobile nodes connect to each other using wireless communication, can provide a wide area of wireless LAN (Local Area Network) flexibly. A communication performance of MANETs using a single channel decreases due to occur often channel interference when the nodes relay frames. In this paper, we propose a priority control scheme based on neighbor node behavior for MANETs. A node is always monitoring neighbor nodes, and determines a transmission priority itself using monitoring results; the priority decreases when the node transmits a frame successfully, and increases when the node can detect a frame transmission of other nodes. We evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed scheme by simulations. The result of simulation shows that a throughput of our proposed scheme is at least approximately 700 kb/s higher than a MANET with IEEE 802.11a. |
