| 抄録(和) | 移動端末の通信の継続を実現するシームレスハンドオフ技術では、移動先のネットワークへ移動端末宛のトラフィックを転送し、移動先のゲートウェイが移動端末宛てのパケットをバッファすることでロスを防ぐ。帯域を共有する無線LAN 上では、バッファされたパケットがリリースされると、以前から接続していた端末の通信晶質に影響を与える。本研究では、IETFで標準化された、ネットワーク主導でシームレスハンドオフを実現するProxy Fast Mobile IPv6(PFMIPv6)を対象にし、この劣化を抑えるため、アクセスゲェートウェイにおいてバッファされるトラフィックと以前から無線LANに接続していた端末へのトラフィックの双方の送出を制御する方式を提案する。シミュレーション実験により、移動端末のハンドオーバが他の端末のトラフィックの遅延変動に与える影響を検証し、提案方式の有効性を示す。 |
| 抄録(英) | The seamless handoff technique which keeps the communication of mobile terminals prevents the packet loss by buffering user data packets which is forwarded from the previous mobile access gateway (MAG) to which the MT has been attached, to the new MAG while the MT makes a handover. When the shared wireless access technology (e.g., IEEE 802.11) is employed as the access network in the mobile network, the released packets from the buffer space of the MAG degrades the communication quality for the other MTs (residential MTs) which have already been attached to the wireless networks. In this paper, adopting Proxy Fast Mobile IPv6 which has been standardized and provide the network-based seamless handoff, we propose the novel traffic control method which controls both the traffic into the residential MTs and the buffered packets in MAG in order to prevent the degradation of the communication quality. Using the packet-based simulation, we investigate the affection of the delay characteristics which is given by the released packets from the buffer space of the MAG and show the validness of the proposed method. |
