Abstract(in English) Internet access schemes become diverse with a growth of smartphone market. Inter-system coordination between 3G cellular networks and Wireless LAN systems is expected to be applied to smartphone to select appropriate access networks based on user environments and applications. Additionally, IEEE8O2. 11WG is actively working on developing new Wireless LAN standards for providing higher throughput, supporting TV White Space, and enhancing MAC to support various types of new applications. In this presentation, we explain Wireless LAN standardization status in the IEEE802.11WG as well as inter-system coordination scenarios.
