Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper we present a cooperative mechanism called TXOP (transmission opportunity) Exchange, in which only stations (STAs) participating in TXOP Exchange cooperatively use their available bandwidth to satisfy their required throughputs, while other legacy STAs continue to see same throughput as before. TXOP Exchange enables flexible bandwidth exchange between compliant STAs without any effect on the legacy access point and legacy STAs. Further, our NBS (Nash bargaining solution)-based algorithm also ensures fair incentives for cooperation between STAs. We evaluate the effectiveness of our mechanism through analysis and simulations.
