Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In multi-rate wireless networks, network coding may not be effective because its transmission rate is equal to the lowest rate of broadcast link. Cooperative network coding has been proposed in order to resolve this problem. In this paper, in multi-rate wireless networks, we consider the utilization of cooperative network coding for the bandwidth auction. In our proposed auction, cooperative network coding is utilized to maximize social surplus. We evaluate the performance of our proposed auction with simulation. In numerical examples, we show that our proposed auction is effective regardless of the number of users.
