Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we examine the performance of a self-adaptive routing method in wireless mesh networks built in a geographically limited area. The method is used for temporary information sharing, which indicates that in a situation that information senders and receivers freely appear in the network, information is forwarded from an information sender to a receiver. The self-adaptative routing method determines a unique route by operations among variable numbers (ex. complex number, vector, etc) assigned to each node and adaptively change the assigned variable values based on routing results. In simulations, we consider two spatial patterns for appearance of information senders and receivers, which are (1) a sender and a receiver appear in random locations, (2) a sender appears in locations with a fixed distance from a receiver, and examine if the self-adaptive routing can provide reliable information forwarding capability. Simulation results show that an appropriate type of numerical values assigned to nodes and operation among the values depends on the appearance pattern of a sender-receiver pair.
