Dynamic Configuration System for Wireless Mesh Networks

Abstract(in English) Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) are very scalable wireless multi-hop network constructed by radio-connected access points. Since the access points are necessary to input many wireless parameters for each wireless device, the cost for WMN construction and setting will increase. In the previous research, software was proposed to support and manage WMNs. However, it is still difficult to find APs' mis-configuration. In this paper, we propose a dynamic configuration system for WMNs using a GUI application and some script programs. The proposed method is implemented to La Fonera access points, and the system performance is also clarified by experiments.
