Abstract(in English)	The committee of study on standardization safety evaluation for complex systems by using Rank-Matrix method under IEICE is under way for research and study on applications of the Rank Matrix method for various industry area. We are going to examine this method for middle range of Information Systems which may be occupied major market share in this area. Though this trial, we discuss on relevancy and applicability this method and its fundamental concept, and a typical safety evaluation process of information systems, relevant data and its issues. Here, preparation factors and arrangement of this methodology are discussed as the first step of this study.
