Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We examine the significant difference in auditory sound localization yielded by stereo speaker listening and stereo earphone listening with regard to stereo aperture angles and bandwidths in horizontal direction and vertical direction in order to show the validity of out-of-head sound localization created by two-channel stereo signals. Our results show that the two systems are equivalent, since there were no significant difference between stereo speaker listening and stereo earphone listening.
