Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Effective training is necessary for improving exercise performance. It is desirable to select the exercise that is suitable for each individual physical capacity and effective for skill up training. However, paying attention to the performance sometimes result in selection of exercise that is not suitable. In this study, for an example of repetitive exercise, squat and pedaling were evaluated by joint motion and surface EMG quantitatively. We divided all the strokes of each repetitive exercise into three parts to evaluate an individual physical functional activity. Then, we calculated the profiles of joint motion and muscle activity in each stroke and estimated basic statistics of them. The result showed that the profiles of joint motion and muscle activity did not significantly change between phases. Finally, we configured the process for selecting appropriate exercise for each individual.
