Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose the fast converging algorithm based on the gradient projection method in the proposed PAPR reduction method based on clipping and filtering (CF) for eigenmode multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO)-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals. We show that the convergence speed of the proposed method can be greatly improved by using the gradient projection method compared with the projection onto convex sets (POCS) approach. Simulation results elucidate that the proposed method with the gradient projection method can achieve average PAPR of 6 dB with approximately 4 iterations and increases the average capacity by approximately 14 b/s/Hz compared with that of the conventional CF method when SNR is 30 dB.
