Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an adaptive superframe allocation and dynamic topology update for IEEE 802.15.4g compliant SUN (Smart Utility Networks) that provides low-power consumption performance. In the proposed scheme, each meter with radio relay capability allocates optimum superframe duration according to the input traffic and realizes low-power performance by exploiting the obtained sleep periods. Moreover, the proposed scheme dynamically updates PAN topology, thereby provides further decrease of power consumption. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed scheme can effectively realize low-power performance with keeping the frame success rate target.
