Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless ad hoc networks with cluster-tree topology are suffered from both the interference caused by hidden terminals and the bottleneck problem at the network coordinator due to the high concentration of the data traffic. The MCR-SS-CSMA/CA, which is the combination of CSMA/CA (carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance) and SSMA (spread spectrum multiple access) with MCR (multi-code reception), has been proposed to ease the bottleneck problem at the sink node and also to mitigate the interference among subnets in cluster-tree wireless networks. This paper focuses on characterizing the performance of the MCR-SS-CSMA/CA three-layer two-hop network assuming the IEEE802.1504/ZigBee standard. Network throughput and delay performance are simulated and analyzed with packet error rate and buffer overflows for each hop link.
