Abstract(in English) | In order to achieve highly efficient communication in large-scale wireless ad hoc network, a multi-code reception spread-spectrum (SS-) CSMA/CA multiple access protocol was proposed. However, network performance with this method entirely depends on the efficiency of acknowledgement (ACK) packet transmission. This paper proposes a new group ACK method that fits the multi-code reception SS-CSMA/CA and enhances total performance. Network throughput and transmission delay performances for the proposed method are analyzed by simulations based on the IEEE 802.15.4 specification. Simulation results show that the proposed ACK method exploits full potential of the multi-code reception SSCSMA/ CA and improves network throughput significantly. |
