A Global Optimization Method on DT-CNN Using Chaotic Noise by CA

Abstract(in English) A global optimization with Discrete Time Cellular Neural Network (DT-CNN) is studied: To achieve a global optimization, we propose an annealing method with chaotic noise generated by Cellular Automaton (CA). The experimental results show that under some condition the annealing performance with our noise shows high solving ability. This phenomena occurs when the input level is low, and in this case the output image tends to show the regularity of the pattern. On the other hand, when the input level is high, this regularity is broken, and the annealing performance degrades.
