Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The particle swarm optimization (ab. PSO) is a typical meta-heuristic algorithm to find approximate solutions of optimization problems. We have proposed a canonical deteministic PSO which does not include stochastic factor. In this article, we analyze the effect of the phase difference which is generated by the rotation parameter and the initial value. In order to improve diversity limitation of conventional algorithm, we propose a Lissajous PSO whose searching trajectory exhibits a Lissajous curve. Performing basic numerical experiments, we have confirmed that the Lissajous PSO exhibits a good performance in the case of a small number of particles.
