Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Waiting time Jitter is low frequency jitter introduced whenever client signals are asynchronously mapped into OTN frame. In recently years, several new client signals appeared such as video and wireless signals. Jitter requirements of these client signals are more severe than conventional client such as SDH and Ethernet signals. In this paper, the characteristic of waiting time jitter of these signals over OTN is evaluated by numerical simulation, and we propose waiting time jitter suppression method.
