Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, a serious defect in the quantitative evaluation for quantum key distribution has been derived. So we need to reform the security analysis. In the previous paper, we have shown the examples on the defect of the security based on the mutual information criterion. This paper first analizes the security claim of the recent experimental system of QKD performed by NEC and others, and clarify the mistake of the claim. In addition, we show the examples of the fact that any criterion for the security guarantee so far proposed is not adequate to ensure the security. As a result, it is confirmed that the Vernam cipher supported by QKD is far from the perfect secresy, and it may become more fragile than the conventional cipher.
